The company Nvidia has already started to prepare the market for the output graphics card GeForce GTX 680, which will be available soon. In anticipation of such an event the company decided to reduce the cost of the GeForce GTX 580 to 340 Euros.
At the core of a graphics card GeForce GTX 580 is a 40- nanometer chip GF110. The video card has 512 stream processors, 48 raster operation units, 64 texture units and 1536 MB of GDDR5 memory with bus access width of 384 bits. The frequencies of the GPU GTX 580 is set at 782 MHz, shader - 1564 MHz, and memory - 4008 MHz. Currently, the fastest single-chip accelerator in the world in the past is cheaper than the Radeon HD 7950. Modification of the GeForce GTX 580 with 3 GB of memory costs as well as the Radeon HD 7950, but the price tag shows the GTX 570 now € 249.
