70% of Philips products will be made in factories OEM-manufacturers

However, TPV will continue to produce most of the TV - about five million units. Under the contract Qisda and Jabil will put nearly one million TV sets. According to unconfirmed reports, Qisda will manufacture 26 - and 32 -inch panels from Philips. Before starting a confident partnership with Funai and TCL, Philips has made ​​a limited trial orders. Representatives from TCL said they hoped to form a long mutually beneficial partnerships in the LCD TV, adding that the total volume of devices manufactured by the company to grow by 300% in 2008.
